Well yesterday was my berfday, I am 23 now! Yikes, that was really weird to type. I had a really awesome birthday, that spanned 2 days lol. On saturday night my sister and a friend and I went to Red Robin to get my free "birthday burger". I ate the Royal Red Robin, which is basically the biggest greasiest cheeseburger on earth, topped with bacon and a fried egg!! YUMMMMM. I also ate a ton of steak fries and a few glasses of freckled lemonade (lemonade with tons of fresh strawberries mashed in it). After we were done eating my sister of course had prearranged to have like a MILLION people come and sing me happy birthday and bring out a sundae with balloons tied to the spoon. I couldn't believe I got so red. My sister took tons of pics, which I will have to nag her about getting! I opened two of my presents at red robin. One was from my mom, and 2 of my sisters. This was an extremely ridiculously priced gift, not that I'm not thankful for it, but dang, it costs a fortune. they got me a CHI Flatiron. I used to go up to my sisters salon and just use the one there, but now I have my own, WOOT! These things cost upwards of $100 and I would have NEVER ever ever ever bought one for myself, and they know how much I love this brand, so it was a very thoughtful gift indeed. Here is a pic of it:

The second gift was a pair of the ugliest shoes I have ever seen in my entire life. BUT, they are also the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn in my entire life so I DON'T CARE! I have barely taken them off long enough to sleep since I got them. They are like Crocs nursing shoes, only made by airwalk. They are the exact same shoe down to the pattern of the holes on them, and they are made of a very lightweight rubbery foam stuff. Soooo cool. Here is what they look like:

This post has turned into a big brag of my presents, haha. I am bored what can I say. On Sunday after church Chunks parents came down to visit, and we ate dinner together, and the scrumptious cake that Chunk made me. Afterwards I got to open my neat-o presents from Chunk and his parents. Chunk got me something I have been literally begging to get for like a year now, a crock pot!

He also got me a movie I have been begging to see, The Phantom of the Opera.

Hehe, think I am a dork yet? His parents brought me a really cool unfinished wood tray that his mom said I can paint and give the kids to use for after my surgery, so they can bring me "breakfast in bed" on it and other things I might need, very cute. They also brought me this really cool "Mommy hammer". It's a baby hammer that the handle unscrews into 3 different size screwdrivers perfectly sized for little mom hands hehe. They also got me a ton of my magnet making supplies, like these wooden hearts:

I had such a great birthday. My dad sent me a mystery present that is supposed to arrive today, I really have no idea what it is. I feel like a spoiled little kid, and best of all...all the presents were for ME ME ME ME ME ME, mua hahaha. Last time I was pregnant near my birthday I got baby stuff. Practical, yes, but I am a spoiled brat and I want my birthday to be my own :>

Anyway onto less bratty subjects. I got to talk to my kids yesterday, they called to wish me happy birthday. They will be back on Thursday, I can't wait. Tomorrow I go into the hospital for my pre-surgery tests and paperwork, as well as meet with the anesthesiologist. I am nervous, but feeling a lot more at peace with the whole thing since watching a video of a really awesome c-section online. It reminded me a lot of what it was like to have the last one. On Wednesday, I go in for my last OB visit before my surgery, EEEK!!!!!!! Ok, so I am not totally at peace, sometimes I am still scared out of my mind. I will write again after my OB appt and stuff, and it will prolly be the last time before you all get to meet Baby Taylor Andon ;)

Well today I had a couple little projects that were fun. The first was playing with the carpet cleaner that Chunk bought me months ago, that I had never used until today, hehe. The second was making shirts for the kids to wear to the hospital to meet their baby brother.
First off, I must say the Bissell Little Green is a really cool cleaner for a couch. I tested it on the arm of our cream colored couch, and whaddya know, it looks cream colored again. I also tested it out on a big purple Fanta stain on the carpet, which didn't go as well. I am waiting for it to fully dry to pass judgement, but it doesn't look like it worked as well as I wanted it to.
I started making shirts for the kids, but I didn't even get done with Hollie's before I got tuckered out. Here is a pic of how it looks thus far:

Shirt for Hollie Bug

It needs a lot more, but it will be so cute when I am done. I haven't decided what to put on Bubsy's shirt yet. I chose the ladybug because I sometimes call her Hollie-Bug. I might stick some trucks or something onto Bubbas, or maybe rubber duckies. I just dunno. Thats a project for tomorrow I guess.

Tomorrow is my big birthday dinner at Red Robin, since my actual birthday is on Sunday. I can't wait, YUM! I am going to have a Royal Red Robin, which is basically a burger with all the fixin's, but with a BIG FAT FRIED EGG on top. Don't hate, it's delicioso.
I am excited. I will write again later. Peace Out haters.

Just a quick update...I had a doctors appointment this morning..here are all the juicy tidbits of info hehe.

37 weeks and 4 days
BP: 110/84 a bit higher than usual, eep!
Weight: NOT TELLING! lol but I will say I didn't gain anything since last week :)
Urine: Trace protein/neg glucose
Height of Fundus: 38 cm
Fetal Heart Tones: 131
Position: Vertex (head down)

I also tested positive for Group B Strep AGAIN, but I don't need to even worry about that unless my water breaks. As I was leaving, my doctor said "See you next week, maybe sooner!". Eeeeep...what does she mean by that;) I have had a lot of uterine activity lately, but nothing terribly worrisome. We're anxious though, I want to have my baby NOW!
Yesterday we put up the bassinet and started washing baby clothes, it feels so insanely close now. We both sat on the bed and stared at the little baby bed daydreaming for awhile. I have another doctors appt. next week, I will hopefully blog before then, but in the event I go into labor before that, stay tuned for pics of the baby on this blog via my cameraphone!

Well that was fun.
Today I spent the day in the Denver area with my MIL. I had a lot of fun. We shopped for tons and tons of baby clothes and even found Hollie a special surprise, a Snow White dress-up dress. I ate dinner over there and then got stuck in traffic on the way home..it took nearly 2.5 hours to get back. I also went to Hobby Lobby and got some more stuff to make magnets. I am on a magnet craze I tell you. I am going to be starting a special photo-magnet project tonight, I am excited. I miss my kids so much, it hurts to even look in their room and see the mess they left that I can't bear to clean up just yet. I like it the way it is, the room even smells like them, which is a surprisingly good smell. I keep having a TON of intense Braxton hicks contractions which worries me..it really feels like my body is gearing up to have this baby. I want my kids to be there..I will hold this baby in if I have to lol. Anyways, not much going on around here. Boring life without the kids around. :(

Well my babies are in Illinois now, and I am really missing them a ton. The first couple days everytime I walked past their room I bawled. I am getting better, but it still feels really empty around here. Going to church today without them was really weird. Hollie's little friend Ella asked where she was. I don't really want to blog about sad stuff though.

Let me tell you about my Saturday, it was an experience for sure. My sister decides she really REALLY wants a tan, because we've been going swimming lately. We are both very pasty pale wanna-be goths so of course we blind people in our bathing suits. We both know that sunbathing during pregnancy isn't the best idea for a few reasons, and we also don't want skin cancer when we're old so my sister decides we're going to get Mystic Tans. For those of you who don't know..it's basically a fake-n-bake spray on tan that lasts a couple weeks. Neither of us had done it before, and we were excited. So we go to the local Tan Your Hide and tell the girl at the counter what we want. She suggests going with the lowest level of Mystic for our first time since we don't know how dark it will make us yet. We then sit in a room and watch an instructional video. Man, getting a Mystic Tan is a pain in the rear, there are all these steps and safety precautions you have to follow. You have to use this special cream on your hands and feet so they dont turn orange...you have to wear a special cap on your hair...booties on your feet even AFTER the cream..this weird nose plug thing....goggles and of course you are supposed to hold your breath while the machine is misting the crap on you. My sister went first. She came out looking like she had seen a ghost. She said it was horrible, and when the mist hits you it BLASTS the holy crap out of you and is freezing cold. She said it made her gasp and she breathed in a bunch of the stuff. When it was time to turn around, she didn't get a good breath before it started spraying again so about halfway through the mist she had to gasp for air again. So now she was paranoid she was going to kill her baby and stuff, but it was so funny I couldn't stop howling with laughter in the lobby. The way she described the experience was like a wild animal trapped in a booth and being sprayed with cold water while it freaked out LOL! It was soon my turn, and armed with the information my sister gave me..I totally thought I was prepared. WRONG. After I did all the steps with the booties and cap and cream etc, I entered the booth and closed the door. It was dark and creepy in there and I stared to get scared. There was a big green button to push when you're ready, and it is supposed to blink 5 times before the spray starts. Well stupid me forgot to count how many blinks it did so I just took a huge breath preparing to not be able to breathe for 14 seconds. About 9 seconds in I realized that being 9 months pregnant and trying to hold your breath is seriously IMPOSSIBLE and I had to let the breath out. I tried SOOO hard not to take another breath until the pause for me to turn around, but I couldn't make it. So *I* breathed in the mist too. I got a nice big breath before the next 14 second spray to my backside, but again, I just couldn't make it! So I got another breath of mist in. It tastes like crap too. I got out and toweled off and went in the lobby and told my sister we are NEVER doing this again lol. They said it would take 4 hours for the tan to fully develop so we went home. I was taking a nap, when my sister calls me to complain that it didnt do anything. I looked at myself and didn't see any results either. I asked Chunk if I looked any tanner and he said not at all. This was about 3 hours out. I went back to sleep. My sister calls again to tell me she hates it and wants her money back. She said it only tanned her feet. At this point, I got out of bed, and went in the bathroom and disrobed. To my shock and amazement I was tan all over. I put on a white tank top and went to where Chunk was and he said "whoa, you're tan". My sisters took a little longer to develop but she eventually got brown too and when I saw her this morning she looked great. We both like it a lot, but we still don't think we'd be brave enough to set foot in that booth ever again. I wish I had taken before and after photos. I have an after to share, but it doesn't do my new tan any justice. Anyways here it is..and if you're not scared of breathing in funky-tasting dye mist, I highly recommend the Mystic Tan!
Me with my Fakey Bakey

Well we had a fun filled weekend. On Saturday we were supposed to go see an Air Show, but got there too late and missed all the fun. So we went to see the movie Madagascar instead as a family. The kids were angelic in the theatre as usual, but the movie really blew chunks. I do not recommend it whatsoever, I would never watch it again. What really irked me is that the previews were SOOOOO hilarious, they really trumped up the movie a lot more than it deserved. The kids were mildly entertained by it though, but I'm not sure that the popcorn and Sprite they were happily munching on wasn't really what was keeping them content.

On Sunday we went to church as usual, but halfway through sacrament this kamikaze little girl (not in our ward) comes flying in through one of the side doors and proceeds to scream like a banshee and run around in the front of the chapel. I was amused, and kept thinking that this little girl looked familiar. Well, a second later poor Patty pops her head in and motions for me and Chunk to grab Katie LOL! I swear you see chat people everywhere sometimes. Turns out her ward meets in the same building as ours, just before us. SO Chunk grabbed Katoe and escorted her back out into the foyer where her poor mom was trying to hold the baby and keep control of the wild woman at the same time. So sacrament continues, and a few minutes later, Kamikaze Katie comes tearing through the chapel again, this time running up to the stand and running around our bishop who looked extremely confused lol. This time I grabbed her and went out in the hall and talked with Patty a little bit. It was so funny, I hope everyone else found it as amusing as I did.
It was fast and testimony meeting, and we've been promising Hollie that she could go up and bear her testimony at the next one. She's been BEGGING to go up there, but we were hesitant to let her because we were honestly terrified of what she would say (for example-my daddy pooped today, mommy yells at daddy sometimes etc) LOL. So we told her if she would start bearing her testimony at home for a little bit, then she could. Well this child has blown our minds. She gets up on the fireplace bricks and pretends to hold a microphone and bears her testimony all the time. She says things we didn't even know she knew. She tells us Joseph Smith saw angels and he was a prophet, and that she knows the church is true, and that Jesus is the son of God and she loves and misses him. It's incredible to see how close children are to Heavenly Father. So after the time was turned over for testimonies, Chunk took Hollie right up there. The poor girl was so little that even with the stool and lowering the stand all the way, you couldnt even see the top of her little head, so Chunk held her up. We can't stand it when parents coach their kids on what to say up there, so he remained silent and waited for Hollie to say whatever she wanted. She was very nervous looking around the congregation, and I really thought she was going to choke and want to get down. But then she looked up and said "I like to bear my testimony. long pause....I know the church is true, and I love my Mommy and Daddy, In a name of Jesus Christ, Amen." And she hops down and takes off RUNNING to me with a huge grin on her face yelling "I bear my testimony Mommy!!!!". We high fived and then sat down and listened to Chunks testimony. It was adorable, I am so proud of my little munchkin.

After church we headed up to Broomfield to visit QueenMum and Grandpa, and had a great time. They stuffed us full of yummy food as usual, and QueenMum had a surprise for me, she bought me these really AWESOME high powered magnets to use in my magnet crafts I make. She also had made some little picture books with sticker pages and stuff for the kids to have on their airplane trip. The kids had a blast playing with Grandpa downstairs with the yoga balls and the basket of care-bears they keep down there, while Chunk and I had a good time talking with QueenMum upstairs. Grandpa also took the kids out in the garden, and let them pick their own little tiny strawberries. They really liked that a lot, especially eating them. We had a good trip.
We were just a little bummed that Chunks brother didn't show up. He knew we were coming, and had even said he would stop by, but 10 pm rolled around and we couldn't wait anymore, since it's a 2 hour drive back to our house.

Today Hollie and Bubba have a dentist appointment, and I have to go get ready for that now, but I am in a very bloggery mood, so I might just write about how that went later. :)
