Well I am officially getting ready for the Hoo-tah trip. I've been doing our laundry all day, and getting stuff together to take with us. Tomorrow night I will pack the car, and Wednesday morning bright and early, we're off to see the wizard! I have about 10 lists I am working off of..where I wrote stuff down so I would NOT forget. I am such a list-maker. I drive myself crazy. Tonight when Chunk gets home from work, I am making a run to the store for some munchies..including beef jerky and string cheese..yummm. Then tomorrow morning..I have to get an oil change for the van, Chunk and Bubba need haircuts..Oi Vey! The lists grow on and on. This morning I went shopping for some new maternity clothes..since I keep growing out of suff *cries*. I got a nice new outfit for church..but I didn't find anything worthwhile for casual wear. Poo. I wish I had a sewing machine and some extra time. Oh, I also snuck a new pair of shoes. Poor Chunk..I think I exasperate him sometimes with my shoe fetish. I can't helpm it though *snicker* I can't see my feet anymore, so it shouldn't matter, but it DOES!

I just wanted to make a short post before we left...i am sure there will be tons of pics when we get back, CHAO!

I mentioned last post that we had a FUN saturday last weekend, so this entry is going to be somewhat of a picture posting extravaganza.

The first thing I want to mention, is that my lovely husband bought me the most gorgeous armoire for our TV and VCR/DVD thingy. Well, he bought it for "the family" but he let me pick it out. I love love love love love it. the TV has been sitting on the floor all ghetto-like for a long time now, and all our movies were kept in a raggedy Huggies box next to it. So here is the pic of the armoire, it's Pine and it smells sooooo good.

I didn't bother airbrushing out my dirty house this time haha.

The next few pics are from our day spent in Old Colorado City, which is about a few miles from Manitou Springs Colorado, and also the foot of Pikes Peak. It's a cute little area where the town originally started, they have lots of cool stuff to look at.

In these pictures, Hollie is actually "performing" the movie Rigoletto, and singing her heart out..Charley was just kind of stomping around her laughing on the stage, but I did manage to capture him standing still.

Having a tasty treat outside of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. They are eating "Snowmen on a Stick" which are basically chocolated covered marshmallows decorated with various candies.

This is Charley throwing the biggest fit on earth, and dropping down to cry on CEMENT, all because we wouldn't let him beat his sister with a huge stick he found in the park, POOR CHARLEY! haha.

Those are all I have for now. We had such a blast. We are going to Manitou Springs soon too. We will be leaving for Utah a week from today, we are SO excited. We have lots of nifty plans, including taking the kdis to temple square for the first time, and also visiting family out there. Hollie has a cousin who is the same age as her, and she is SO excited to be going to her cousins sunbeams class at church. Charley will be going to nursery with the cousin that is also about the same age as he is, so it should be really fun. I figured out how to blog from my cell phone, isn't that sad? So i can keep you all up to date, even while on vacation! Chao (spanish version) for now!

Well I actually have a ton to blog about, and a lot of pictures to go with it, but I don't have the time today:( On saturday we had a VERY fun day in Old Colorado City, we spent the day there and I took a ton of pictures.

I just wanted to post something real fast to keep you all captivated. I have been working on little projects to sell on ebay, and I finished a set of magnets I will be listing. They are Disney Princesses and Hollie adores them. I am making her a set secretly. Thanks to Noelle for motivating my butt to actually do it and stop being a clucker! So they are going on ebay today as my "test batch"..wish me luck! here is a pic of them, enjoy!

Meet Pinky. This is hollie's best friend. This morning she decided to put an empty plastic easter egg on her head. I thought it was hilarious, and it totally reminded me of the movie "Weird Science". Now, my husband has never seen that movie, so he had no clue why I thought it was so funny. Those of you who have seen it will know what i'm blathering on about. In case you were wondering, yes I did airbrush my dirty bedroom out of the pic, haha!

I have been having way too much fun with an extremely old version of PSP. I think it's 7. I just found it on Chunk's puter and so now every picture is being edited in some fashion. I decided my sister needed purple eyes and stars. Heh. Here is one more of her:

She is probably going to kill me, but oh well. I think she's just absolutely gorgeous and I lvoe messing with her pictures.

While I am on a roll with the picture uploading, I'll post one of the new infant car seat we bought. It came in the mail yesterday and Hollie and I had a blast putting it together. She sat in it all night too, it was funny because she's still small enough to fit in a rear facing car seat! Anyway, here it is. It was on a killer sale too, so if any of you need one let me know and I will link ya!

As a lot of you may know, Colorado was hit with quite a blizzard yesterday. I woke up to my front door wide open and my carpet wet from snow blowing in...ACK! I guess my door didn't latch all the way and the wind blew it open. Around 7 am I started getting really cold, so I got up to turn the heater up, and I was met with my front door waving in the wind. The first thing I thought of was checking on the kids..I was panicking thinking that maybe someone had gotten in the house. I peeked in their room and they were sleeping soundly and toasty warm since their door had been shut. I realized that if someone *had* gotten in the house, we would have seen footprints in the snow coming up to the door LOL! My purse was also sitting right next to the entryway untouched..so I was relieved. We all got up to look out the windows and marvel at all the snow coming down. Just theday and night before we had a barbecue at my sisters house, it was warm and sunny and the kids played outside all day. This weather is CRAZY here! We got a phone call from the Elders Quorum President letting us know that all church meetings for the day were cancelled and to also extend Chunk a calling. He is now the Elders Quorum Secretary. We later found out all flights in this area were cancelled..and chunks work was closed down, as well as the mall my sister works in. Visibility was literally 0. The wind gusts were up to 60 mph..it was so cool! We stayed in our cozy house all day and ate goodies and celebrated our "snow day". I took a picture of our balcony...they kind of suck..you just can't see how crazy it was..but here they are!

I don't have anything to say, so I will just ramble some stuff.

General Conference was really good, we watched it all on byutv.org. I really liked the "porn talk" as I have been calling it lol. On saturday between sessions we went and ate at our fav mexican restaurant Pueblo Viejo. The kids usually get a little quesadilla meal, but they opted for chicken fingers and fries this time instead. I had a tamale, a chicken enchilada, and rice and beans. Chunk ate some delicious enchilidas verde, con pollo. It was delightful, and I ate so much that I was suffering and struggling to breathe in the car on the way home.

Today I took the kiddos to Sam's Club. We purchased:
Toilet Paper
Paper Towels
Dish Soap
Milk
Garlic and Herb Shrimp
Butterflied Shrimp
and Cookies to bribe the kids with in the car on the way home:)

I did not realize this until today, but Milk at Sam's is a good dollar cheaper per gallon than at Wal-Mart. So if I buy one gallon a week, for the next 30 weeks, my membership will have paid for itself right? RIGHT! w00t.

After Sam's we went to my sisters house for a bit and the kids got to play outside. They raked the yard for a good hour or two. Bubba found some kind of pickaxe looking tool, and stabbed the ground over and over. It kept them busy, and wore them out, so we did not object. We made plans to have a barbecue over there this Saturday, weather permitting. I am going to bring Tri-Tip (if you do not know what this is..ASK ME..you MUST try it!!!) and some shrimp on skewers to grill. Oh yes, and my world renowned Spinach Dip. Carie is making some kind of potatoes and her friend Shauna is making pistachio pudding. YUM! They are having some other kind of steak too, but I will be happier than a pig in poo eating the Tri-Tip and shrimp on the barbie. I am excited. Notice I get excited about food a lot lately? It's supposed to be in the 70s on Friday and Saturday. I sure hope so, we have some planting and yard work to do at her house.

Chunk had another great experience at work tonight. not only did he just get recognized for his good work last week, and get an unexpected raise, he was pulled aside for a coaching session. During the session, the person coaching him told him he has made some great improvements, and asked him where he wants to go with this company. Chunk said he would like to get into the training department. The coach then said he could go ahead and get off the phone and be floor support for awhile. This is awesome....the coach recognized his abilities, and gave him a little bit of the experience he will need in order to get promoted into the department he wants to go to! Yay for him. For only working someplace for a little more than 4 months, he sure has had a lot of positive experiences. I can almost guarantee Chunk will meet and exceed his goals at T-Mobile.

I guess i've rambled enough for one post. I have some stuff going on this week...so next time I might have more substance. Ciao for now!
